A foundation, and a clear path forward.

The Phoenix Platform™ builds on human clinical experience to advance distinct therapeutic candidates across multiple disease areas, each with its own biological rationale, evidence base, and development path.

01 / Foundation

PBI-05204

Clinically characterized

PBI-05204 is a supercritical carbon dioxide (CO₂) extract of Nerium oleander formulated as an oral capsule. It was evaluated in Phase I and Phase II human studies, providing clinical safety and pharmacokinetic experience that informs continued platform development. Related intellectual property includes method-of-use patents in neuroprotection and antiviral applications.

02 / Lead forward asset

PBI-06150

Preparing for IND-enabling studies

PBI-06150 is a defined, dual-extract botanical drug candidate combining an ethanolic extract with a subcritical liquid CO₂ extract. Formulated for sublingual administration, it uses oleandrin as the primary marker and is being developed as a host-directed candidate for acute respiratory viral infection. The program is designed to follow FDA’s botanical drug development framework and is supported by composition intellectual property expected to extend to approximately 2040.

03 / Emerging

Neuroprotection program

Preclinical

The neuroprotection program is evaluating a triterpene-based composition in preclinical research. Studies are examining its biological activity in models relevant to neuroprotection and whether it may provide a wider therapeutic window than the platform’s cardiac glycoside-based candidates. The program represents a distinct composition strategy within the Phoenix Platform™ and may help inform future candidate selection and development.

Phoenix Biotechnology’s therapeutic candidates are investigational and have not been approved by the FDA. Program descriptions reflect the current stage of research and development.
